For Career Research
Information for those researching holistic healthcare career options and/or training programs.

Consider the Options

As a first step, we urge you to review the special Career Considerations section of our site. This section answers the most commonly asked questions about a career in holistic healthcare and is designed to help you identify which aspect of the healthcare field is most appropriate for you. There are also links to training schools and a section listing healthcare modality associations.

Being impartial, AHHA does not recommend one career path or one school over another. Our goal is to help you gain a general idea of what matches your interests and your passion. We can direct you to sources for information on training, legal requirements, and career opportunities.

Talk to Practitioners

You can use the Keyword search option for the AHHA Practitioner Members list to find individuals who have an active practice doing what you think you want to do. Call or e-mail them with your questions about their training. Ask them how they built their practice.

Ongoing Connection

With your strong interest in health and wellness, there are other ways we can continue to be a resource for you. We invite you to sign up for our free e-mail reports at Free Stuff.

  • MONTHLY - Each month we distribute our AHHA Special Updates e-report, which includes:

    • Featured AHHA Resource item -- By featuring one of many resources in the AHHA website each month, you eventually learn about everything.
